NCSTL developed and conducted three prior trainings for capital litigators and two hundred and fifty prosecutors and defense attorneys attended.

The NCSTL held a 2-day training on the uses of forensic science in capital cases under a grant from the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) on May 21 and 22, 2009 in Tampa, FL. A second 2-day training was conducted on November 19 and 20, 2009 in Phoenix, AZ; a third was conducted on July 8 and 9 in Plano, TX. AGENDA for the third training.
