NCSTL is pleased to announce the new Share Feature that enables members to share their search results with other interested researchers. To use the new feature, simply log in with your user name, go to the database search page and set your search parameters, then save your search. From the saved searches you can easily create a unique URL that will enable you to share the results of that search with anyone.
For example, suppose you want to share Florida DNA legislation with someone you know. Follow these steps:

NCSTL is pleased to announce the new Share Feature that enables members to share their search results with other interested researchers. From the saved searches you can easily create a unique URL that will enable you to share the results of that search with anyone.
For example, suppose you want to share Florida DNA legislation with someone you know. Follow these steps:
- Go the HTML version of NCSTL (http://ncstl.org/home) and log in with your user name and password.
- Click on Search Database on the menu bar at the top of the page.
- Select the topic DNA and the resource Legislation and click on Add.
- Choose FL from the state pulldown box.
- Click on Save Search.
- Name your search by typing in the text box that appears.
- The Favorite Searches page will appear.
- Click on Share next to the search you just created.
- A Shared Link appears. Click on that link to open a new browser window that will provide a unique URL that you can share with your friends.
